It’s been a whirlwind at 3 Donkeys — Burghley, farm life, and autumn days on Dartmoor. We had a catch up with Amanda as she shares what’s new at HQ and beyond.

It’s Been a Whirlwind — Burghley, Calves & Coveralls!

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been hiding lately… I promise I haven’t vanished! It’s just been one of those whirlwind stretches where life at 3 Donkeys HQ has been running full tilt — between prepping for Burghley Horse Trials, keeping up with orders, and, of course, juggling farm life here in Devon.

Burghley & Beyond

Burghley this year was incredible — long days, muddy boots, and so many lovely faces stopping by the stand to say hello. It’s always one of those events that reminds me why I started 3 Donkeys in the first place: women who work outdoors, get stuck in, and still want to feel good doing it.
Hearing your stories about where your 2to1® Coveralls have taken you — from lambing sheds to yards to rainy dog walks — honestly makes all the hard work worth it.

Back Home in Devon

Back at the farm, life didn’t slow down one bit. The new calves arrived, the weather turned, and suddenly autumn crept in — darker mornings, drizzly afternoons, and that familiar smell of wet grass that says “coverall season” has truly arrived.

It’s that time of year when the 2to1® Coveralls really earn their keep — easy to zip on, layer up, and get stuck into whatever the day throws at you, without the soggy knees or freezing legs.

A Little Side Note… Mochi & Maple

Somehow, in between all that, I’ve also been busy bringing another small dream to life — Mochi & Maple.
It’s a little online and pop-up shop full of gifts and stationery where Devon countryside charm meets kawaii Japan. Think cute notebooks, plushies, keyrings, and small joys that make you smile — perfect for stocking fillers or a pick-me-up treat.

Looking Ahead

Now that the dust (and mud) has settled a bit, I’m feeling ready for the season ahead — coffee in hand, donkeys braying in the background, and plenty of waterproof zips at the ready.

Thanks for sticking with me through the busy months — it means the world to this little Devon business.
Here’s to an autumn full of fresh air, muddy boots, and staying dry in style 💜
