After a super successful visit to the BETA International Trade Show last month, in a thrilling – and totally unexpected – triumph, our Exmoor Country Coverall won a show award! Celebrated as the BETA New Product of the Year 2023, this prestigious honour cements our commitment to designing and manufacturing the best in women’s workwear and signals the beginning of a new era for 3 Donkeys.
Our BETA debut
With 3 Donkeys working with workwear giants Leo® Workwear, we can now explore different avenues and routes to market with our new range of hi-viz protective clothing. So, making the long trip to the NAEC at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire last month saw us arriving at the 2023 BETA International trade show for the first time as exhibitors. But as first-timers, we never dreamt it would be such a success for us and at the heart of it all was our new Exmoor Country Coverall. Launched just a few weeks previously, we looked to the BETA show as a gateway to stockists and retailers who were in the right market for us to work with and supply our latest range of coveralls.
BETA New Product of the Year award
To be more specific, the Exmoor was in the ‘Clothing and Footwear’ category, one of eight categories, and competition was tight. But to our amazement, we won BETA New Product Of The Year for that category! The winners and runners-up were announced at a special awards ceremony at the end of day one of the show, and what a moment for us!
But the judge’s comments really topped it off when they said the Exmoor was an “Innovative, high-quality garment of good designed, practical work clothing, particularly for the equestrian professional, with a wide range of practical applications.”
Receiving the New Product of the Year award is a humbling experience for us. It reflects the recognition of our dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation and setting new standards in women’s workwear.
